This week we had North American most sold vehicle annually the Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew with an MSRP of $45149 and was assembled in Kansas City in the United States 🇺🇸.

Our F-150 has the twin-turbo 2.7L Ecoboost with 325hp, and a massive 400 lb-ft of torque never left us wanting more power. The F150 doesn’t have the most inspiring driving characteristics, each time you’re cornering you’ll have to second-guess where your wheels will be going next, most people that do drive the F-150 will drive it with the front wheels deactivated, especially whose driving in the city, otherwise your steering wheel will start to wobble and you might actually break the 4x4 system. The F-150 isn’t the most engaging car, however, sitting up high you’ll have the perfect view on the road, and maybe you’ll even feel like you’re the king of the road.
Can the F-150 family? We actually think that the F-150 makes a lot of sense if you’re a larger family instead of buying an SUV or a minivan, why would you ask? The configuration with of having six passengers, 3 in front and 3 in the back, while your teenagers will enjoy being able to sit in front and enjoy the view around them.
The F150 gas consumption in the city will make people uncomfortable and potential also cry, we've averaged 20.2L per 100km in the city and on the HWY our average was 10.2L per 100km and we average 16.5L per 100km over 500km with a 50% mixture of HWY and city, part of our HWY drive and City Drive was done in heavy traffic and with temperatures well below -15C.
As an HWY cruiser, the F-150 is relaxing to drive. The main downside is the entry-level cloth seats are a little hard, upgrading to leather seats would be a must for people that are thinking to daily drive the F-150 for longer journeys.
Our 2018 model didn't have Sync 3 instead it was equipped with the basic sound system that is decent sounding. What we didn't like is the tiny screen for the review camera, at this price point, you can't expect much however if the usage of your F150 will be done in tight places upgrading to the more massive sync 3 will be a must.
The installation of car seats will be less enjoyable of the F150 ISOFIX latches are hidden underneath the seats and are not easily accessible as the seats are upright without any angle. Latches can only be found on seats next to the doors, hence a maximum of 2 car seats can be installed. As for strollers, you'll have enough space on the bed plus everything you've ever dreamed about, naturally as long as you'll have your bed covered.
Now let us put this in simple terms if you don't have a business, you have no business driving an F150 as a daily driver with your family in the city unless you want to ruin yourself! The gas consumption is out of control. A hybrid system would be great in lowering the fuel consumption to more acceptable levels.
What we've like from the F-150, good fuel consumption on the HWY, lots of storage, option to have 6 passengers, lots of space for cargo, Off-roading,
What we've dislike from the F150, lousy fuel consumption in the city; concerns with towing with the 2.7L engine mixed with the 10 speed automatic and long term reliability, transmission can feel jerky at low speeds.
