Lets first talk about the engine, this Volvo is not a 5 banger as the name would make you believe, it’s a 2.0 liter I-4 cylinder with 240 horses, with 258 lb-ft of torque. Volvo says it can make 0-60 in 6.4, in real-world condition with cargo the fastest we've tested was 6.8 seconds with 19 inch Pirelli’s Scorpion zero.

Can it family? Indeed, it can! In a world where people only buy SUV to go off-road supposedly. This station wagon is refreshing. It has enough cargo space to haul the family and lots of cargo for longer distances. We’ve been able to get 8.6L per 100km 30/70 City/HWY. For children seat the ISO-FIX seats could be more visible for easier installation, also the rear headrest could have a bigger opening in the middle, to make it easier to attach car seats in the back. 2 smaller adults can sit in the back with one car seat, however, with 2 car seats in the rear it becomes harder to sit another person unless it is a child.

Can you do long distance driving with the V60? After driving more than 1000km the V60 never felt boring, it always felt agile. It never felt slow, however, sometimes we would have liked that the engine had a more umph, especially when overtaking from 100 to 120km/h. The BLIS system isn't the newest however it is configured in a way that it isn't a nuance while driving. The automated braking system is always here to save your life when the person in front of you starts breaking like crazy as they forgot they had to exit right away from the left lane.

2018 has been an excellent year for Volvo, they've had double-digit growth between 35-50% each month in Canda, the new model lineup sure helps to refresh Volvo with the other premium brands.

The sound system is okay for everyday use, it’s not as good as the one found in the XC90 however to the regular ear it will be pleasing.

One thing that really surprised us with the V60 is we were able to take the first HWY exit and drove down a steep off-road hill, someone would expect with the looks of this car that it would not be able to crawl like an off-roader. Think again, the AWD drive system actives and helps the wheels that are spinning to go up the hill.

If you have any question regarding this car, please let me know in the comments.
