Mitsubishi announced a few changes to its lineup for the 2025 model year. The popular Outlander will receive a mid-cycle refresh at the end of the year, with details about the new version and pricing revealed later. The Outlander PHEV will keep its current features and capabilities but gains a new SE trim slotting between the base ES and LE trim. This trim provides customers with a few goodies such as a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, smartphone wireless charger, heated steering wheel, and hands-free power liftgate, to name a few.
As for the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, the NOIR edition is returning as a middle trim and features upgraded seats and a range of black accents inside and out, including a bold NOIR spoiler. As with the RVR (Outlander Sport in the US), no significant changes are on the horizon, and it remains virtually unchanged.
One model that isn’t mentioned in the press release is the Mirage, which effectively ended the cheapest model in the Japanese automaker’s lineup and the cheapest model in North America. In these times of high inflation and interest rates, the Mitsubishi Mirage was one of the most affordable vehicles on the market for about a decade.
